Grimm brothers were born in Hanau, Germany, in late 1700. Despite their different temperaments-Jacob was disciplined and austere, while will was sociable, romantic and dreamy-the Grimm worked together all their lives resting on a strong sibling relationship. Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm became famous from his collection of fairy tales drawn from Germanic oral tradition.
